The Armstrong House & Archives has become the first stop for anyone looking for information about Louis and his life. Our current educational and cultural programs include the interpretive exhibit and house tour; special musical performances for school groups; presentations to schools, senior centers, and libraries; and global outreach through our web site, which averages almost 5,000 hits per day, with visitors from all over the world.

Breaking Barriers: Louis Armstrong and Civil Rights

Louis Armstrong House & Archives staff also provide entertaining and informative slide and audio/video tape presentations to school groups, libraries, senior centers, jazz clubs, and other groups.

Pops is Tops, our concert series for young people in the beautiful Armstrong garden, introduces about 1,600 neighborhood kids each year to Louis Armstrong and jazz.
